Using past papers and their indicative content are an excellent way to prepare for examinations; pre-planning responses which with any luck will come up in the actual exam.
Here are three different sets of indicative content from the old spec Edexcel examinations which we have discussed and annotated as a class. These have formed comprehensive planning for both character and theme essays:
